Comments: There is an entry in the GRO indices for the birth of a Louisa Ann Jewell in Oct/Nov/Dec 1860 in Romsey (volume 2c, page 71). This seems a very likely match.
Aged 10 at the time of the 1871 census, her place of birth is entered as Awbridge, Hampshire.
There is an entry in the GRO indices for the marriage of a Louisa Ann Jewell in Apr/May/Jun 1881 in Southampton (volume 2c, page 54). This again seems a very likely match. Only one other man's name is indexed on the same page - one James Cole.
