Comments: James is recorded in the 1881 census as being just 6 months old, which would suggest he was born in October 1880.
Although his brothers Charles and Henry later appear in the 1891 census, still living at home, and in the 1901 census, living with their brother William, and seemingly involved in the family business, James does not.
This may suggest he died at a young age.
