Regency Cafe, Work, and Some Strolling About

[Saturday 24th October]
Started off the day withreakfast at the Regency Cafe followed by a late morning stroll taking in views of the Houses of Parliament.

In the afternoon, Chie went to Maidenhead to meet friends, leaving me to my own devices. So I decided to pop into the office for a few hours to try and get ahead on some work related stuff.

Some time after 4 I decided I'd done enough, and as there was a hint of blue in the sky by this point it seemed a shame to not be back outside again. So I went for a meandering stroll from Victoria past Buckingham Palace, from there by way of St. James's, along Jermyn Street a bit, over Piccadilly, down Saville Row, over Regent's Street and into Soho. Got the number 24 bus on the way back.

Back at home in the evening we had Japanese food for dinner, including inari sushi and some hiyayako (raw tofu with ginger, spring onions and soy sauce) along with all the usual trimmings - miso soup etc.
