Day out in London with Ai-san

A gloriously touristy sort of a day out in London with Chie and Ai-san.

Started off with breakfast at the Regency Cafe, then from there wandered over to Westminster Abbey to take the tour.

After the abbey, we walked past Parliament Square, up Whitehall (in time for the changing of the guards on Horse Guards Parade), through Trafalgar Square, to the National Gallery. Had a good look around here.

Following a bit more wandering we headed over to Sketch for afternoon tea - what a marvellously eccentric and eclectic place this is! ...and the cakes were very nice too - particularly the little choux-creme.

After that I left the girls to do a bit of shopping, and headed home.
