Comments: Aged 64 at the time of the 1871 census. Her relationship to the head of household (John) is entered as "grandmother" however, given the aged difference this is almost certainly a mistake, and was meant to say mother instead. Her place of birth is entered as Kings Somborne.
There is an entry in the GRO indices for the death of an Ann Jewell in Jul/Aug/Sep 1874 in Stockbridge, Hampshire (the area that covers Kings Somborne), volume 2c page 48. Her age at death is entered as 57, but if this is a transcription error, and should in fact have read 67, then this would fit well with the 1871 census entry.
