Occupation: Baker
Comments: Aged 5 at the time of the 1871 census, his place of birth is entered as Romsey.
Aged 15 at the time of the 1881 census, his occupation is entered as baker.
Aged 25 at the time of the 1891 census, at which time his occupation is entered again as baker, and he appears to have taken over running of the family bakery on Bell Street.
At the time of the 1901 census his age is entered as 32 (probably an error) and he is still living (and working presumably) at the family bakery at 26, Bell Street, Romsey. His occupation is entered as "bread baker", and his place of birth given as Romsey.
