Work and Play

[Friday 15th January 2016]
Chie and Erika came to my office for lunch, we ate at the Asian themed cafe in my office, and Erika had sushi. Earlier in the week Erika had asked me "who did you play with at work today?", presumably thinking work was a similar setup to nursery. I explained that grown-ups don't go to work to play, they go to work. Whilst we were having lunch today, sat next to the ping pong table, the pool table, and the two foosball tables, she asked "what are those men over there doing Daddy?". "Um, yea... they're playing", I was compelled to answer. Without saying anything further on the subject she had a sort of knowing expression on her face after that, as if to imply she was resting her case.

Chie went to her Hiroshimakenjinkai in the evening, and I babysat Erika. I made macaroni cheese for dinner which seemed to go down quite well.
