Bumbling

Chie had arrived back from Japan on Wednesday, and obviously I'd been at work since then, so this was the first full day for the three of us to spend together, which we wiled away happily bumbling around with no particular objective.

We started off by visiting Kentish Town Post Office, to send off the calendars I'd made with pictures of Erika in, which I'd received this week. Kentish Town Post Office is quite horrible. Easily the grottiest post office I've ever seen. It has an awful dodgy looking mobile phone accessories shop actually inside (what on earth does that have to do with the post office), and just generally looks very shabby indeed.

After that I felt we had to do something to remind ourselves Kentish Town is not all bad, so went for a coffee at my current favourite cafe, Two Doors Down. I've never actually ventured into the downstairs seating area before, but am glad we did, as it's rather delightful.

From there, we continued our wander down into Camden, and did some shopping at the Waitrose there, before getting the bus back home where we spent the remainder of the day.
