Almost Forgot

I almost forgot that Chie was going out this evening, luckily she reminded me at 5ish, so I hurriedly downed tools and hotfooted it to Erika's nursery to pick her up, just stopping off very briefly en route to buy her a smoothie and some rice cakes, knowing that she usually wants to hang around at the playground with her friends after nursery. We were there a good hour, and Erika always seems to be the last one to want to break up the party, but I did eventually manage to get her home. Made trofie with pesto for dinner which was a bit lacklustre for some reason I couldn't quite put my finger on.
