[Monday 6th July 2015]
Erika had been coughing a lot the previous night, which had kept her (and of course us) awake, and in the morning although she seemed reasonably OK, she was quite insistent about not going to nursery. So in the morning I stayed home with her, and made a lentil and tomato soup with pasta in for lunch. After lunch, as she really didn't seem particularly ill, and also seemed less objectionable about the idea of going to nursery, so I thought I'd try taking her. I took her in her buggy (we normally just go on foot) thinking she might fall asleep en route, which she did, but then frustratingly was woken up by the sound of the doorbell when we arrived at nursery, and apparently didn't go back to sleep after that. Ho, hum.

Chie made okonomiyaki for dinner in the evening.
