Moving Desks

From today I was at a new desk, in fact not just a different desk, but in a different building, across the road from the other one, which I'd been in for 8 years. It is going to take a bit of getting used to.

Went for a quick impromptu drink after work with some of the usual suspects at, weirdly enough, a cocktail bar in Pimlico (in the basement of the Artists Residence a "boutique hotel"). Had their "Dr Negroni PhD" which was an interesting (albeit perhaps a bit too light for my tastes) twist on a Negroni. Didn't stay very long, and was back in time to catch the tail end of dinner with the girls.
