Having wanted to better understand all the minutiae of the lease on our new flat (which to some extent doesn't matter as we also have a share of the freehold, and are therefore both lessee and, at least partially, lessor) I'd ordered a book on UK land law this week. I was amused to read in the opening passages that the crown technically owns all land in England. Well that rather simplifies things then.
Picked up takeaway pizza from Oliveto for dinner.
