Lunch at the British Museum

Slightly the worse for wear after yesterday evening excesses today (although actually I didn't feel particularly hungover, the issue was more that I seemed to have lost my voice).

We went for lunch with Gemma and family at cafe in the British Museum, to say our goodbyes, as they were imminently relocating to California. As it happens several of the participants in last night's OTT Champagne binge were also at lunch today, so that became the main topic of conversation for a lot of the time we were there.

The food was surprisingly good - and we had a fantastic large table in a secluded corner of the cafe, on a sort of promontory overlooking the great court. It turned into a wonderfully long and very relaxed lunch in very pleasant company.
