Spaghetti

Chie had some of her "Mama tomo" (Mum friends) over to visit in the afternoon, and they apparently spent quite a lot of time out in the gardens. I'm really pleased that we're making so much use of the gardens since Erika was born, and especially because we've had a few weeks now of really nice summery weather.

In the evening I made spaghetti for dinner for the girls. A sort of vegetarian version of a putanesca sauce for the grown-ups, and a more baby compatible sauce for Erika. Chie accidentally dropped Erika's bowl of spaghetti on the floor, and there were tears as a result (not just from Erika). I responded swiftly and retrieved some pasta from earlier in the week from the freezer, and I think managed to recover the situation.
