Not very successful Chinese meal this evening - started with the now usual mock duck pancakes - probably the best bit - and then for the main course made ma-po tofu and attempted to make a kind of sweet and sour sauce with some fake beef from Holland and Barrett. Neither came out particularly well, both had a sort of funny "fizzy" sort of flavour to them somehow, which was a bit off-puting.
Erika had some noodles and some plain tofu, plus the usual fruit and vegetables on the side. She probably fared better than we did.
