Summer Party

It was my company's summer party this evening (or at least the one for engineering), for which they decided to return to the same venue as last year - the Kensington Roof Gardens. Unfortunately it's at least partly an outdoor venue, and the weather was pretty miserable. There's also a bit of a low mood in the office at the moment - at least among the people I know. In addition to my team having been mostly disbanded, several people are leaving the company altogether, and there's a definite sense of the end of the party. Which is how tonight's more literal party felt pretty much right from the start.
