Defrag

Finally had the official meeting at work today wherein my team was told to go and find new projects - although it has been on the cards for a while. We've been "defragged" - which means the powers that be have decided to consolidate the wider project area I work on into fewer offices, and London was on the losing end of this particular bit of reshuffling, as ours was a relatively small presence. I'll be continuing to work on the project for the time being, quite possibly by myself, to continue to support other teams who rely on our work (ironically we actually have some fairly big launches coming up this summer), and possibly to figure out transition plans etc. Needless to say this was not a particularly happy day at work, but for the immediate future at least I've got plenty to do, so I'm just going to keep my head down and get on with that.

In the evening I made a concerted effort to not think about work, and made a Thai curry for dinner.
