Macaroni Cheese

Given our upcoming trip to Japan I started to plan our meals around things we'd be unlikely to eat there. Japanese homes don't typically have ovens, and it's very hard to get decent cheese there, so I thought macaroni cheese would be a good candidate tonight.

After dinner I read a couple of Japanese books to Erika - I can just about manage if they're written in hiragana. She really likes turning the pages herself, albeit that she does so in quite a random fashion, irrespective of whether I've finished reading that page - then sometimes forwards, sometimes backwards, and mostly several pages at a time.
