Jerky

First day back at work today after my very long absence over Christmas. I think lots of people were taking the remainder of this week off as well, so it was actually pretty quiet in the office.

After leaving work I decided to pop to Chinatown to by things for dinner, including the vegetarian jerky pictured here. Dinner wasn't actually a huge success though - I bought a jar of black bean sauce which yet again didn't taste right (this one was far too salty), and the "spicy tofu" I cooked with some kai lan tasted a bit overpoweringly of Chinese five spice. Perhaps the real problem here was that we were eating Chinese food and it wasn't a Monday.
