[Sunday 30th December 2012]
Mum and Keith's last day in London today. They had breakfast at their hotel, and I met them there when they checked out, and we came back to the flat for a bit. They didn't particularly want to go out and do anything, so we just had a quiet morning in the flat.
I thought it might be convenient to have lunch in St. Pancras before they got their train, and decided to give the Betjeman Arms a go. As it was a "pub" (in so much as a modern contrivance built inside a station can be) it seemed like a good idea, as we'd be able to just sit and take our time - their train wasn't until 4:30.
We waved them off about 3:30 in the end, and went to do a bit of shopping in St. Pancras - Chie also had a quick play on the piano while we were there:
In the evening we had a simple dinner (we had eaten out for all three meals yesterday!) - salad followed by fresh pasta with a home made tomato sauce.
