Erika Goes To Oliveto

We took Erika to Oliveto for the first time this evening - the staff were very accommodating and gave us a table with the bench at one side, with a couple of cushions for Erika. An elderly and very well spoken couple sat next to us and the lady told us she thought Erika was very cute. How nice it was to receive compliments about our baby from people who were likely landed gentry.

Erika was pretty content to just lay there for most of the meal, but after we'd finished our main course and were thinking about dessert she decided she'd have enough and started crying. I whisked her away as quickly as I could to try and avoid disturbing any of the other customers (particularly the very well-to-do lady and gentleman beside us), but despite pacing up and down in the corridor for a while I couldn't get her settled so we decided to just leave without dessert. Still, we had at least had a rather lovely time eating our pizza and pasta.
