[Friday 19th August 2011]
Not much to report. Went to the usual end of the week beer and pizza thing (wherein I never actually eat any of the pizza, as it's pretty naff, and I would rather save my self imposed pizza ration for really excellent pizza) and it was just about pleasant enough to sit outside. It really has been a remarkably crap summer.

Headed home after that, knocked up a quick bowl of pasta for dinner by myself (Chie was out with friends for the evening), then headed out towards Notting Hill Gate with the plan of meeting up with Chie after she'd finished. Owing to some communication difficulties, and some closures on the tube, that didn't really work out, and we ended up going back home separately.
