Whisky Society

I haven't been to the Whisky Society in ages - probably six months or so? Partly this is down to the throat problems I was having at the start of this year, which kind of put me off drinking whisky to some extent.

Anyway, I had a text from Al in the afternoon saying that he'd be there in the evening, and I thought as it had been so long that would be a good opportunity to re-acquaint myself with this one time favourite haunt of mine.

Had a few good drams and a good old natter with Al, Kyle, and Al's friend Hugh. Rounded off the evening with a visit to Ye Old Mitre, where conveniently I also met up with Chie, who had been at a karaoke evening with some people from her company at a restaurant nearby.
