Falafel and ThaliPosted on 2011/08/14 10:43:08 (August 2011). [Wednesday 10th August 2011]
London seemed very much back to normal again by today, and I was determined not to spend another evening stuck indoors glued to the TV / Internet.
Went for falafel for lunch, at a kebab place in Pimlico I had only heard about because of someone mentioning on Twitter the previous evening about the long queue of police there. Not particularly great falafel as it turned out, but it's always nice to try somewhere different.
In the evening I met up with Chie near my office, we spotted one of the Google Maps buses, and on a whim hopped on it, without really being sure exactly where it would take us. Luckily it delivered us into the centre, and we decided to go for curry at Masala Zone for dinner. Not quite as good as it has been on previous visits, but still, nice to be out and about and see a sense of normality restored to London again.
