[Tuesday 24th November]
Went for dinner with Al this evening at Skylon, the restaurant in the Royal Festival Hall on the South Bank.

What is actually your budget in terms of restaurants? Do you earn that much money?

Yes I probably spend quite a lot on dining out, but I see it as helping the economy - I am attempting to eat my way out of the recession.

I have to admit that when I saw your blog post title I thought instantly of the 1951 Festival of Britain. I guess I was right in that the restaurant's in the correct place as the original and named after it!

It reminded me of Monty Python's science fiction sketch - the blancmange creatures who come from the planet Skyron in the galaxy of Andromeda.
