Only a couple of days left...

Posted on 2008/03/12 21:40:36 (March 2008).

[Wednesday 12th March]
Wasn't quite as bad at work today compared to the previous two days. This was probably partly just because this was my last-but-one day in the office before flying off to Tokyo, so the reality dawned that I wouldn't get all the things done that I was supposed to, and maybe it didn't really matter that much after all.

Left work just before 8, and had a quiet evening in catching up on my blog etc.

There is a great common line that I think it's valid for your software engineers, you are always late! I have worked quite closely with the guy that programmed the company website and he's constantly late, no matter what he has to do... I think it comes with the job, maybe there was even a course at Reading about "LATENESS"! :D
Jokes aside leaving for holiday is always a stress for me too, I always feel I shouldn't take the time off... I hope I change this attitude because is wrong, after all why do we have holidays for?!

Since you are there, would you mind say hello to Chie's family, please send my bestest regards!

Also please say hello to the emperor, to the Irish pub where we used to have our little "encounters" (eheheh), to "Pronto" (maybe not actually), to BicCamera, to the vending machines and the Shinkansen....

Do I miss not travelling to Japan as much as I used to!?... :(

Oh come on Lox, you like Pronto really - the bronze beer cups and the caper berries are worth a visit alone!

....just try to forget that it is one of many misguided attempts to imitate your country's cuisine and you may be able to see something good in the place!
