One Month In...

[Thursday 8th February]
Well, today marked one month since I started the new job. In retrospect it hasn't been all that exciting so far, but I remain optimisitc that things will improve - if nothing else I'm told people change projects quite frequently at this company, and so if my current project does continue to be somewhat uninspiring I may well have the option to do something different after a few months.

After work I just went straight back to our temporary apartment, where Chie had very kindly made dinner. This was accompanied with a bottle of red wine from our neaby Waitrose, and it was all very nice.

Mate, you're lucky. I'm trying to drag my company out of the quagmire of shortsightedness and into the light. Suggesting anything beyond flat HTML gets you funny looks and sighs of the risk.
