Chie

[Tuesday 6th February]
After over a month, today I could finally see Chie again, which was very nice indeed. It worked out pretty well - her flight landed at Heathrow around 4:30, and she got a coach from there into central London arriving at the same time I left work. I went and met her at Victoria Coach Station (what a dreary place that is nowadays!) and from there we got a taxi to the temporary apartment to drop off her stuff.

We went almost straight out from there, on foot, to find somewhere to have dinner. We settled on a Lebanese restaurant (based on the criteria of a cuisine that we couldn't have easily found in Japan or the US). Had an assortment of mezze and a bottle of very fragrant Lebanese wine.

It's great to have her back!

Good stuff, now you can properly lookf for the flat and start rebuilding your life together in the UK!
