Well a theme definitely seems to be developing this week - one of sheer drudgery. I don't recall having ever had such a bland first week back at work before, but perhaps it's a bit like child birth: with a built in amnesia mechanism. Had a pretty dissatisfying sort of dinner - a few odds and ends of leftovers from Christmas that had been hanging around in the freezer. Didn't even feel in the mood for a drink or anything. Generally really, really bland. One of those days that might just as well have not happened at all.
