Sunday in Cologne

[Sunday 12th December]
Had another wander around the Christmas markets and so on. I'd hoped I could do most of my Christmas shopping here, but in the end I found it difficult to find anything I actually wanted to buy for anyone. Had a late lunch in a nice bar, before deciding it was time to pick up our bags and head off to the airport. The flight was, of course, delayed, and what with all the hanging around in the airport it seemed to take absolutely ages to get home. By the time we finally got back it was almost nine, and I only had the energy left to make some very simple pasta and the fall asleep.
