Went to the supermarket as our food cupboards were running a bit low. The highlight of my purchases was a jar of Bovril - apparently there's not actually any beef in it any more, so it has now become completely vegetarian. I used to have Bovril a lot when I was a kid, and it was one of those things I was somewhat reluctant to give up on turning vegetarian. Amazingly, somehow or other it seems to taste the same. Had salad and pizza for dinner when we got back from the supermarket, and spent the rest of the evening watching TV.
