Scotch Malt Whisky SocietyPosted on 2004/10/19 08:48:31 (October 2004). [Monday 18th October]
Today I received my membership for the Scotch Malt Whisky Society this included an introdctory bottle. The society has an unusual policy of never naming distilleries directly - instead they are all numbered. However, it didn't take long to work out what I'd received was a Bruichladdich, and so naturally I was rather pleased. Had a kind of vegetarian shepherd's (or cottage) pie for dinner, which turned out quite nice actually.
