Oven

[Friday 15th October]
It must have been quite a cold evening, as both Chie and I independently decided we wanted something cooked in the oven for dinner. I'd originally planned to make a lasagne, but given the absence of some of the required ingredients, and a general apathy about going out to buy them, we decided to shelve that idea. Instead I made cauliflower cheese and a sort of potato cake - not sure what you call it, the thing where you get lots of very thin slices of potato and lfill a baking dish with them, plus some olive oil and butter. Actually came out quite well.
