Lazy SundayPosted on 2004/01/19 13:35:28 (January 2004). [Sunday 18th January] Still feeling a tiny bit ill, so I didn't really do a great deal today, and thought it was probably better to just relax. Spent a bit more time on the web trying to flesh out the family tree a bit. In the evening, had a very nice dinner - I made sushi and Chie made tempura. In the evening watched "Dude, Where's My Car?" which perhaps should have been called "Dude, What's the Point?", followed by Broken Arrow, which I know I've seen before, and didn't really enjoy the first time, but somehow felt oddly compelled to see it through to the end nonetheless.

Ok, John, stop being ill now.
Thankyou.

So you know my brother-in-law then? Same thing happens every new year. Along he goes to my wife's parent's new-year bash, and insists on shaking my hand. The viruses then march along our conjoined limbs and do their work. I'm wobbling, coughing and generally foul for a week or two. Happens every year and everyone compliments him on his courage coming out and passing on his passengers when he feels so bad etc.... Must be a lesson there somewhere!
