Chiesan.comPosted on 2003/08/27 23:00:37 (August 2003). About two years ago I set up a domain for Chie, and for most of that time it has gone pretty much unused. That is, until I recently set up the picture categories bit of my site, and I realised I had an easy way to have an automatically updated page for Chie. Every time I add a new set of pictures, I assign it to one or more categories. There's then an index page maintained for each category. It was only a simply modification from there to have an RSS feed also generated for each category. This means the main page of Chiesan.com can just read the relevant RSS feed from the 'Maison, and use that to build an index page of pictures with Chie in, ordered by most recent updates. There's something deeply satisfying about knowing I can make changes on one site, and those changes, if relevant, will automatically propogate to another site.

Hello, Chie and John-san. This is Maiko, Chie's high school friend.(I visied her once. Did you remember me?) I saw Chiesan.com.. It was really good. She traveled a lot, so I envy her... hehehe I wish I visit Chie again pretty soon....
