There is an entry in the IGI for the birth of a Caroline Gothard on 4th February 1827 in Blackwell By Alfreton, Derby. Her parents are entered as Thos Gothard and Ann. Blackwell and Newton are in fact very close together so this seems a fairly likely match.

Aged 44 at the time of the 1871 census, her place of birth is entered as Derbyshire, Newton.

Not sure about her surname - it is taken from her mother who is living with the family at the time of the 1871 census. Maybe something like Goshard, Gossard, Goddard, Gothard..?

A Sarah Ann Dunn appears, aged 19, in the 1881 census, working as a servant at Belgrave Square, Nottingham St Mary in the household of one Henry Ashforth. Her place of birth is entered as New Brinsley, Nottingham.

Aged 29 at the time of the 1891 census, her birthplace is entered as "Notts, Greasley".

Aged 39 at the time of the 1901 census, her birthplace is recorded as "Notts, Brinsley".
