We sat here for a while, in this sort of waiting area in a Hiroshima department store / shopping centre. A collection of old men had gathered here to watch sumo wrestling on the telly.

We went for lunch at this Italian restaurant called La Sette, in Hiroshima. The food was pretty good, and the crockery was entertainingly unusual.

This here is a semi - a great big Japanese insect, about 5cm long. There are millions of these things about in the summer and they are bloody noisy!
