Saturday. The big day - Radiohead headlined in the evening.
09:49:43 No, I'm not throwing up (although I did have a very slight hangover) - I'm actually cleaning my teeth. |
10:15:26 The sun was already out in force, so I thought I'd better get some sun cream on. |
10:39:05 Me, and some of Simon. |
12:01:39 Chie, in amongst the general throngs, with two Welsh pasties in her hands. |
12:01:58 Me, having just bought a hat. |
12:14:30 I really loved these flags here, and they looked especially nice with the bright blue sky and gentle breeze. |
12:14:35 Me and the flags again. |
12:45:19 It was hard to resist taking a picture of this. |
12:55:11 I think these guys were called the acromaniacs. They were from Canada. Very good. |
12:57:17 Here they are again. |
15:18:54 Back at the tent again, we decided to cook up lunch number 2 - a vegetable chilli. |
15:19:51 Chie, and, errr, some water. |
15:20:15 A shot of the lovely blue sky. |
15:28:45 Me eating chilli, complete with flour tortilla. This was exceptionally nice. |
15:28:53 Lovely. |
17:05:35 After lunch, we went to the cabaret tent to see Phil Nichol, one of my favourite stand-up comedians. His performance was a lot more zany (for want of a better word) than usual, apparently as he was totally wasted. This is probably part way through the famous Gay Eskimo song. |
18:10:39 Chie trying in vein to shelter from the hot sun. |
19:59:36 A view out over the site. |
23:18:31 Later on, here we are back at the pyramid stage for Radiohead. I think this is the only worthwhile picture I managed to get during their set. |
23:19:21 Very difficult to see what's going on here! |
23:20:26 ...this one isn't too bad actually, |
23:35:36 Very odd. |
23:36:26 Hmmm... |
23:37:05 ...yes, well. Anyway, take my word for it, Radiohead were fantastic. |
01:13:56 After the crowds had cleared, we though we'd have a wonder to the front of the stage to see what it was like. |
01:16:44 As standard, a bin was on fire. |
