Saturday in the Wye Valley
Saturday 23rd July 2022
A spot of shopping in Monmouth in the morning, then lunch at the Boat Inn, followed by an afternoon visit to Trellech to see the stones and the well. Then popped into Tintern Old Station for a coffee and an ice cream. In the evening Robin and Robert came over to the house for dinner.

It did all seem a bit overgrown and uncared for.

Tintern Old Station was more of a hit with the girls, thanks in part to the provision of coffee and Welsh Gold ice cream.

They also had a sort of treasure hunt activity on for kids, which Erika took part in.

Seems I didn't take any photos at dinner, here instead are the girls with Robin and Robert outside the front door before we went for a brief post-dinner stroll down to the river and back.
