Turin to Venice

Spent the morning exploring Turin, then after lunch got the train from Turin via Bologna to Venice. Spent the evening on the Giudecca, just South of the main island of Venice.

Spent the morning exploring Turin, then after lunch got the train from Turin via Bologna to Venice. Spent the evening on the Giudecca, just South of the main island of Venice.
Friday in Venice

Fairly quiet morning on the Giudecca, including a swim in the hotel's rooftop pool, and a visit to San Giorgio Maggiore. Lunch at Snack Bar La Palanca, before transferring to our other hotel, and then spending the rest of the day on the main island, including a walk to the Rialto district, and a bacaro crawl.

Took in some art at the Gallerie dell' Academia and the Palazzo Grimani. Then on for a whirlwind tour of Murano late afternoon. Early evening had dinner at Gam Gam, and a wander around the Venetian ghetto, before getting on the sleeper train to Paris.

Travelling Back

Arrived in Paris on the sleeper train late morning, had lunch at Saveurs Veget'Halles, and then got the Eurostar back to London in the afternoon.

Eurostar from London to Paris in the morning, lunch in Paris, and then TGV to Turin in the afternoon.
