Good morning from the Scottish coast! It was a bit chilly this morning (just below freezing I think) but I bravely popped out to see if there was anything to see of the sunrise yet.07:40:10

I won't lie I felt really quite cold while taking this. Inside the tent in my sleeping bag I had been fine, outside was a different matter.

I look quite ridiculous don't I? Chie gave me this hat as a silly Christmas present and in the absence of any other warm hats I took it along just in case. It did make quite a difference. Although paired with a head torch it looks particularly silly.07:50:32

I was sort of in the process of packing up camp, but I tried to do as much as I could inside the tent to stay warm, then I would pop out for a minute to see what the sunrise was doing.07:50:57

I think I was finally packed up by this point, and one last rather spectacular shot of the sunrise as I was heading off. Once again I wish I hadn't spoiled it by having me in the way!

The journey home was a rather long one due to engineering works, but I happily wiled away the time finishing off the editing of my video. The sun had already set once again by the time I got back to London.
