Sunset on the Heath
Friday 17th September 2021
Headed to the heath for the sunset - not quite as dramatic as the volcanic eruption earlier this week, but still quite a nice one nonetheless.

Heading up Parliament Hill, and with a fair amount of grey skies in the foreground at this point.

Looks like somebody had set fire to this bench a bit.

I decided to try Dermot Sugrue's new release of his Cuvee Dr Brendan O'Regan this evening.

The sunset.

18:48:03
Of course frustratingly on the heath the actual sun at this point is typically hidden behind a line of trees, but I thought the clouds and those heavenly rays looked rather nice this evening.

18:48:07
Also a vapour trail from a plane adding interest here.

18:50:02
Not a bad show, all things considered.

19:00:41
Time to head home. I think this is another nice shot with the silhouettes and the vapour trails.

19:44:37
Back at home I had a late pizza for dinner, the girls having eaten earlier with one of Erika's friends. Oh and I lit the big stick candle I'd picked up in Canterbury.
