Sunday 25th October 2020
Went down to Canterbury for the day, and sat under a tarp in Leon's back garden while he made pizza and we drank Spritzes.
London October 2020
Knowing it was going to rain, and given the restrictions in force at the time, I brought a tarp along with me and set it up in Leon's garden.
Me with a Spritz (impressively Leon had the Venetian bitters - Select) in Leon's garden.
Leon getting the oven going in the background, and our al fresco table and chairs setup beneath the tarp.
Leon's pizza oven / barbecue.
The view across the river Stour from Leon's back garden.
The oven and the tarp. I think we really made the best of it despite the weather.
Leon and his gloves.
The view from the garden again.
One of the pizzas - they were a bit small but very tasty!
When Leon asked what I like on pizzas I had somewhat flippantly said porcini, and he actually went and found some. It was the dried stuff, but it actually worked pretty well on pizza.
Leon, spritzes, pizza.
In Leon's shed.
On arrival back in Kentish Town.
