Pumpkin Soup and Wine on the Heath
Sunday 1st November 2020
Made pumpkin soup for lunch, then later in the afternoon I went and sat on Hampstead Heath with some wine for a bit.

Still quite a lot of pumpkin left over afterwards.

I saved the face from the white pumpkin (not least because it had permanent marker on it).

14:25:43
Trying to choose a wine to take to the heath later - briefly considered this Gevrey Chambertin but eventually went for a Davenport.

A bit of a grey day today, but I was happy to be out in the fresh air regardless.

15:40:32
Looking very autumnal.

Me in my loudest tweed suit, sat on a bench by the barrow, with a bottle of English wine.

15:55:51
Another attempt with the bottle a bit more visible - not sure whether I prefer this version with the portrait mode blurred background...

15:55:51
...or this version without.

As the nights draw in, I end up spending more time on the heath as it's getting dark. Interesting to see people still take their dogs for walks as it's getting dark, but they put lights on them so they don't get lost.

17:13:53
The sky actually started to clear a little as it got dark.

17:15:25
Some silly self portraits as I was heading home.

Less blurry version.
