Dim Sum and Hyde Park
Saturday 23rd November 2013
Dim sum at Pearl Liang for lunch, and a stroll through Hyde Park, including a bit of Winter Wonderland.
London November 2013
Ordered some new extremely cheap shoes this week (£12!) - here they are on the right hand side, to compare against my current pair.
Erika with her hat and new gloves.
In Hyde Park, on the way to lunch.
A floating bookshop on the canal by Paddington station.
In Pearl Liang for lunch.
Obligatory shot of dum sum steamers piled up.
These were some kind of honey flavoured fried buns. They were pretty good.
Also enjoyed these fried custard buns for dessert.
Having a little walk around outside the restaurant with Erika.
We saw Paddington from quite a different angle today, which I found interesting.
Wandering back through Hyde Park.
Winter Wonderland, popped in quickly for some mulled wine.
Erika in the Waitrose in Belgravia - I was pleasantly surprised she took to being sat in the trolley!
Macarons from Pierre Hermes - including my favourites - the white truffle and hazelnut ones.
Bought an artichoke to have with dinner.
Erika and her dinner (including some of the canneloni I made for the grown ups).
