I had been fooled into ordering something far paler than I wanted it to be.

I read down as far as "Burton Bitter" but didn't get to the critical next line: Amber Ale.

Popped down to King's Cross later to buy some bargain Nyetimber in the Waitrose there. I had half considered sitting in Granary Square to have a glass, but after a quick walk around and seeing a lot of irksome looking people I changed my mind.

So instead I headed to the heath.

This also gave extra time for the Nyetimber to chill - I brought an ice bucket with me.
