The washing machine had started leaking all over the kitchen floor yesterday evening, which turned out to be due to a blocked drain. I spent much of last night and today unblocking the drain and cleaning up.

I had never actually seen behind the washing machine before, and crikey what an ugly hack job somebody did there to fit that waste pipe in.

The kitchen with the washing machine and dishwasher pulled out. I had successfully unblocked drain by this point, and was doing a cautious trial run of the washing machine with mop and bucket at the ready.
