I finally discovered where the washing line was meant to hook onto! So took advantage of that and the spring sunshine today to do a bumper load of laundry.

Erika, playing one of the new games we invented - blind fishing. You have to close your eyes and catch as many balls / frogs as you can from the paddling pool with a fishing net.

Erika was suspiciously good at it.

I had been saving the Dermot Sugrue Brendan o' Regan for a Sugrue themed tasting session with friends, but who knows when that might be able to happen now? So I thought I'd just drink the bloody thing.

It was delicious - lots of notes of Japanese food interestingly, from bitter citrus (yuzu?) to seaweed like umami on the palate.
