GevCham, Rob and Mark, and Goring
Friday 6th March 2020
Received a case of GevCham in the morning. Got the train to Reading in the evening to go aRob and meet up with Rob and Mark while Mark was in the UK. After that I headed on to Goring to check in to the Miller of Mansfield where I'd be staying tonight ahead of my walk along the Ridgeway tomorrow.

Case of Gevrey Chamberting from my favourite producer - Domaine Fourrier - this is the 2015 vintage which may need a bit more cellaring first.

The train to Reading. Surprisingly quiet for rush hour.

Cup of tea and a stem ginger biscuit.

Rob and Mark in a bar in Reading which used to be my bank.

Rob and Mark in Sweeney and Todd, the long running pie shop in Reading.

On arrival at the Miller of Mansfield in Goring - it seems they have some connection with the Confrerie du Sabre d'Or.

22:31:41
The night sky in Goring. It was lovely there this evening, and I wished we'd been able to spend the majority of the evening here rather than in Reading.

22:33:58
Popped into John Barleycorn for a last pint before closing time.
