The rose finally in bloom. Although it literally is one rose this year.

I had mistakenly thought the solar eclipse might be today, but it was actually due tomorrow.

For lunch I ordered a "vegan gyro" from "What the Pitta?". It was surprisingly good.

Also had a wine delivery, and correspondingly the wine racks are now completely full up.

On arrival on the heath. Really quite warm this evening.

...so I found a shady spot, and cooled down with some Breaky Bottom Cuvee Michelle Moreau.

I had been a bit down in the dumps earlier in the day, but I found sitting here in this shady spot, amidst all the bird song (only slightly spoiled by what sounded like some people playing a guitar and singing in the distance) was quite uplifting.
